Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils,, which included the work A cow at the edge of a pool with ducks by Arthur Heyer. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,088.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Heyer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A family of cats at play, which sold at auction in February 2001 for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,363.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, durch, in der auch die Arbeit A cow at the edge of a pool with ducks von Arthur Heyer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.088,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Heyer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A family of cats at play beobachtet, die im Februar 2001 für GBP 4.700,00 (€ 7.363,78) versteigert wurde.
