Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in London held the auction The Brian Juhos Collection From a Domaine in Southern France, which included the work Four Erotic Scenes by Aubrey Vincent Beardsley. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 584.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aubrey Vincent Beardsley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Design For The Front And First Page Of The Savoy Or Woman Fondling Grapes in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Brian Juhos Collection From a Domaine in Southern France durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Erotic Scenes von Aubrey Vincent Beardsley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500,00 (€ 584,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aubrey Vincent Beardsley erzielen.
