A top price for Baba Tree - as previously expected

In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Matters of Material, which included the work I) Lingkaii) Special Bowliii) Toh-Baiyee by Baba Tree. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,674.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, I) Lingkaii) Special Bowliii) Toh-Baiyee is the most expensive artwork by Baba Tree that we have observed at auctions so far.

Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage

Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Matters of Material durch, in der auch die Arbeit I) Lingkaii) Special Bowliii) Toh-Baiyee von Baba Tree zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.674,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist I) Lingkaii) Special Bowliii) Toh-Baiyee das teuerste Kunstwerk von Baba Tree, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
