This artwork by Babs achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in February 2008. In the Graffiti Art auction, the work La Lettre, 2007 sold for EUR 2,231.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Babs; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gravity, Babstrait Serie - 2014 sold at auction in February 2015 with the realized price of EUR 4,160.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Babs erzielte im Februar 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Graffiti Art wurde die Arbeit La Lettre, 2007 für EUR 2.231,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Babs; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gravity, Babstrait Serie - 2014 im Februar 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.160,00.
