This artwork by Bai Bohua achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Lady in Boat sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,458.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bai Bohua - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lady With Flowers, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 184,000.00 (€ 17,460.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bai Bohua erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lady in Boat für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.458,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bai Bohua mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lady With Flowers beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 184.000,00 (€ 17.460,64) versteigert wurde.
