Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Decorative Asian Works of Art Online, which included the work Lijiang Riverscape, 1989 by Bai Xueshi. The price achieved of USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,344.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bai Xueshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape of Li River in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,485,000.00 (€ 425,603.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Decorative Asian Works of Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lijiang Riverscape, 1989 von Bai Xueshi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.344,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bai Xueshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape of Li River im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.485.000,00 (€ 425.603,21).
