Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Classics Paris, which included the work Dans l'atelier du sculpteur by Balthasar van den Bossche. The price achieved of EUR 6,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Balthasar van den Bossche have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The interior of a sculptor's studio; and An elegant interior with an artist painting a portrait of a lady in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 17,925.00 (€ 28,591.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Classics Paris durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dans l'atelier du sculpteur von Balthasar van den Bossche zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Balthasar van den Bossche auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The interior of a sculptor's studio; and An elegant interior with an artist painting a portrait of a lady im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.925,00 (€ 28.591,07).
