In April last year Sothebys in London held the auction Banksy, which included the work HMV by Banksy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,200.00 (€ 30,050.11), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Banksy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love is in the Bin in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,582,000.00 (€ 22,014,651.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Banksy durch, in der auch die Arbeit HMV von Banksy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 30.050,11) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Banksy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love is in the Bin im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.582.000,00 (€ 22.014.651,32).
