Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Pulp Fiction by Banksy was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 100,250.00 (€ 116,817.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Banksy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love is in the Bin in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,582,000.00 (€ 22,014,651.32).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Pulp Fiction von Banksy kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 100.250,00 (€ 116.817,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Banksy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love is in the Bin im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.582.000,00 (€ 22.014.651,32).
