Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ben Enwonwu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christine in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 1,095,000.00 (€ 1,270,121.47).

Die Arbeit Remi von Ben Enwonwu kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 9.793,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ben Enwonwu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christine im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.095.000,00 (€ 1.270.121,47).
