In the Furniture and Old Master Paintings auction, the work Christ and the Samaritan woman at well sold for EUR 50,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 28,000.00. Admittedly, works by Benvenuto Tisi Garofalo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Jerome in the Wilderness in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 307,689.20).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Benvenuto Tisi Garofalo erzielte im April 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Furniture and Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit Christ and the Samaritan woman at well für EUR 50.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 28.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Benvenuto Tisi Garofalo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Jerome in the Wilderness im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 307.689,20).
