Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction SELECTEDArt d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain, which included the work Starlet (projet de tapisserie) by Bernard Rancillac. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,147.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Rancillac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Captain Ka Contre Doc Dok in December 2014 with an auction result of EUR 157,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion SELECTEDArt d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Starlet (projet de tapisserie) von Bernard Rancillac zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.147,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Rancillac erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Captain Ka Contre Doc Dok im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 157.500,00.
