In September 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction A Tribute to Symbolism, which included the work Hérodiade, 1899 by Berthe Burgkan. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,810.00 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Berthe Burgkan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Le Fascino", 1903 sold at auction in September 2017 with the realized price of EUR 6,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion A Tribute to Symbolism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hérodiade, 1899 von Berthe Burgkan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.810,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Berthe Burgkan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Le Fascino", 1903 im September 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.500,00.
