This artwork by Biren De achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2005. In the Indian and Southeast Asian Art including Modern and auction, the work without title sold for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,971.14) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Biren De achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work September '73 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 67,661.49).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Biren De erzielte im September 2005 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Indian and Southeast Asian Art including Modern and wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 7.200,00 (€ 5.971,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Biren De erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit September '73 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 67.661,49).
