A top price for Blade - as previously expected
In February 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Graffiti Art, which included the work Beyond The Wall, 1984 by Blade. The price achieved of EUR 37,176.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Beyond The Wall, 1984 is the most expensive artwork by Blade that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Graffiti Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beyond The Wall, 1984 von Blade zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 37.176,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Beyond The Wall, 1984 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Blade, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
