The work Czech abstract by Bohumír Matal was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,391.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bohumír Matal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech the Lovers (Milenci) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 103,250.00 (€ 114,226.93).

Die Arbeit Czech abstract von Bohumír Matal kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.391,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bohumír Matal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech the Lovers (Milenci) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 103.250,00 (€ 114.226,93).
