Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Christies in London held the auction Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Gallery, which included the work Auberge du Boulot Noir by Boris Nzebo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,062.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Boris Nzebo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gabonese hlm (Habitats À Loyer Modérés) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,915.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Gallery durch, in der auch die Arbeit Auberge du Boulot Noir von Boris Nzebo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.062,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Nzebo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gabonese hlm (Habitats À Loyer Modérés) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.915,37).
