Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Center of the Universe by Brenden Mastache was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 125.00 (€ 113.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Brenden Mastache have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work LMAO in August last year with an auction result of USD 630.00 (€ 625.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Center of the Universe von Brenden Mastache kam im August 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 125,00 (€ 113,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brenden Mastache auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit LMAO im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 630,00 (€ 625,93).
