The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,040.00 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brigitte Lacombe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Isabella Rossellini, NYC, 1989 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 13,860.00.

Die Arbeit Jeanne Moreau - New York - 1996 von Brigitte Lacombe wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Jeanne Moreau Collection bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.040,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brigitte Lacombe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Isabella Rossellini, NYC, 1989 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.860,00.
