This artwork by Bruno Munari achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in October 2018. In the Modern & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Negativo-Positivo sold for EUR 15,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bruno Munari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buccia di Eva in November this year with an auction result of EUR 140,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bruno Munari erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Negativo-Positivo für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bruno Munari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buccia di Eva im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 140.000,00.
