Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A famous spot on the Riviera which still retains its traditionally carefree atmosphere of leisure and elegance: The square outside the Casino at Monte Carlo by Bryan de Grineau. The price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,356.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Bryan de Grineau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I Spy Strangers: Churchill in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,692.78).

Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A famous spot on the Riviera which still retains its traditionally carefree atmosphere of leisure and elegance: The square outside the Casino at Monte Carlo von Bryan de Grineau zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.356,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan de Grineau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit I Spy Strangers: Churchill im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.692,78).
