Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Woman Praying by Bui Huu Hung was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 51,200.00 (€ 6,191.67). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bui Huu Hung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Golden Afternoon, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 108,800.00 (€ 13,040.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Woman Praying von Bui Huu Hung wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 51.200,00 (€ 6.191,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Bui Huu Hung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Golden Afternoon beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 108.800,00 (€ 13.040,89) versteigert wurde.
