Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Camille Claudel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2017. In the Camille Claudel auction, the work Homme Aux Bras Croisés, Circa 1885 sold for EUR 26,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Claudel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Valse, Première Version in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,122,500.00 (€ 5,978,874.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Camille Claudel erzielte im November 2017 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Camille Claudel wurde die Arbeit Homme Aux Bras Croisés, Circa 1885 für EUR 26.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Claudel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Valse, Première Version im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.122.500,00 (€ 5.978.874,90).
