Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Classic Sale, which included the work "Ungdom" (= Youth) by Carl Eldh. It changed hands for a price of SEK 9,500.00 (€ 1,037.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Eldh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 15,288.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Classic Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Ungdom" (= Youth) von Carl Eldh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 9.500,00 (€ 1.037,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Eldh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Självkritik" (Self-criticism) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 15.288,85).
