Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Scandinavian Sale, which included the work Swedish Gratulationer Från Kattegatt (Congratulations From Kattegat) by Carl Larsson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 66,500.00 (€ 84,590.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Larsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Syende flicka" in December 2020 with an auction result of SEK 10,200,000.00 (€ 1,015,829.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swedish Gratulationer Från Kattegatt (Congratulations From Kattegat) von Carl Larsson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 66.500,00 (€ 84.590,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Larsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Syende flicka" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 10.200.000,00 (€ 1.015.829,93).
