Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Schmitz-Pleis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Damen Bildnis (Portrait Of A Woman) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 34,000.00 (€ 23,148.15).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
