Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work The blessing by Carl Suhrlandt for GBP 1,997.50 (€ 3,259.72). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Carl Suhrlandt have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2010 by the work Joining the hunt at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,481.24).
