Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carlo Pellegrini could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the JOHN FRANKS COLL. OF ORIGINAL WATERCOLOURS FOR VANITY FAIR auction, the work Lord Egerton of Tatton, 'Tatton' Aristocrat and Politician changed hands for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,393.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Carlo Pellegrini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Adelboden in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,365.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Pellegrini konnte im Dezember 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion JOHN FRANKS COLL. OF ORIGINAL WATERCOLOURS FOR VANITY FAIR wechselte die Arbeit Lord Egerton of Tatton, 'Tatton' Aristocrat and Politician für GBP 960,00 (€ 1.393,39) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Pellegrini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Adelboden im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.365,68).
