Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Summer landscape by Charles Albert Burlingame for USD 687.50 (€ 498.44). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Albert Burlingame - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horn's Mills, Scotland Hill (Rockland County, New York), which sold at auction in September last year for USD 1,211.25 (€ 1,238.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
