This artwork by Charles Camoin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Le Clocher de Saint-Tropez sold for USD 31,500.00 (€ 27,209.12) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Camoin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 266,966.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Charles Camoin erzielte im September 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Le Clocher de Saint-Tropez für USD 31.500,00 (€ 27.209,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Camoin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.966,00.
