It achieved a price of GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,234.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. Admittedly, works by Charles Hancock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Lord Kinnaird and Richard Williams deerstalking in Falah forest in March 2004 with an auction result of GBP 7,170.00 (€ 10,732.83).

Die Arbeit A Grey Carriage Horse von Charles Hancock kam im November 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.553,50 (€ 2.234,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Hancock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Lord Kinnaird and Richard Williams deerstalking in Falah forest im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.170,00 (€ 10.732,83).
