Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 906.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Henry Passey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvesting, which sold at auction in September 2001 for GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,414.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A lane, Dorking, Surrey; and A cornfield, near Guildford, Surrey von Charles Henry Passey kam im August 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 906,68) einen neuen Besitzer.
