In May 2014 Christies in London held the auction The English Collector, which included the work Interior of the House of Commons by Charles Sims. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,594.76), 48% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Sims - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Elysium , which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,428.51).

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion The English Collector durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interior of the House of Commons von Charles Sims zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.594,76) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Sims mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In Elysium beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.428,51) versteigert wurde.
