The price achieved of GBP 1,195.00 (€ 1,792.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cattle watering in a loch landscape is the most expensive artwork by Charles W. Oswald that we have observed at auctions so far.
