In the The Dunrobin Attic Sale auction, the work Le Poilu sold for GBP 280.50 (€ 322.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charlie Johnson Payne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Glad Trong That Goes Laughing Along in December 2003 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 26,561.88).
