Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Mount Taihang by Chen Fan. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,248.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Fan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Flowers And Vegetables in April this year with an auction result of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mount Taihang von Chen Fan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.248,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Fan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Flowers And Vegetables im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22).
