Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Chen Xiaoyun was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in October 2015. The price achieved of CNY 43,750.00 (€ 6,272.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Xiaoyun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Amateur Form of Space is Just Like Carelessly Squeezing Subconscious Into Autumn, which sold at auction in October 2015 for CNY 106,250.00 (€ 15,232.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chen Xiaoyun kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 43.750,00 (€ 6.272,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Xiaoyun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Amateur Form of Space is Just Like Carelessly Squeezing Subconscious Into Autumn beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für CNY 106.250,00 (€ 15.232,18) versteigert wurde.
