In the Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Asian Works of Art auction, the work Nella Bisca del Gran Cinese a Bangkok sold for EUR 24,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Galileo Chini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vecchio Cimitero Di Sam Phaya, which sold at auction in May 2012 for EUR 72,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Galileo Chini erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Asian Works of Art wurde die Arbeit Nella Bisca del Gran Cinese a Bangkok für EUR 24.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Galileo Chini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vecchio Cimitero Di Sam Phaya beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für EUR 72.750,00 versteigert wurde.
