Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Figure with Candle by Chris Gollon for GBP 375.00 (€ 439.36). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Chris Gollon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Evening Walk in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,903.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figure with Candle von Chris Gollon für GBP 375,00 (€ 439,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Gollon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Evening Walk im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.903,91).
