Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chris Johanson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in February 2017. In the Urban Anthology from a Private Collector auction, the work Please Make It The Way It Could Be - 2007/2008 sold for EUR 15,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Johanson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,338.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chris Johanson erzielte im Februar 2017 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban Anthology from a Private Collector wurde die Arbeit Please Make It The Way It Could Be - 2007/2008 für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chris Johanson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.338,91) versteigert wurde.
