The work "Untitled (In honor of Mark Morrisroe)", 1980-2000 by Cindy Sherman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. It achieved a price of SEK 140,000.00 (€ 11,884.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cindy Sherman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled #93 in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,861,000.00 (€ 2,830,645.16).

Die Arbeit "Untitled (In honor of Mark Morrisroe)", 1980-2000 von Cindy Sherman kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 11.884,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cindy Sherman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled #93 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.861.000,00 (€ 2.830.645,16).
