Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Clare Richardson could be acquired at Christies in London in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition auction, the work Untitled III (from SYLVAN series) changed hands for GBP 504.00 (€ 587.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clare Richardson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled V, which sold at auction in May 2009 for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,144.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Clare Richardson konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition wechselte die Arbeit Untitled III (from SYLVAN series) für GBP 504,00 (€ 587,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Clare Richardson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled V beobachtet, die im Mai 2009 für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.144,98) versteigert wurde.
