In the Old Master Works on Paper: Prints and Drawings for under £5,000 auction, the work La Sainte Face (Veronica's Veil) sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,874.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Mellan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait D'Henri-Louis Habert De Montmor (1600-1679), which sold at auction in March 2014 for EUR 11,875.00.

In der Auktion Old Master Works on Paper: Prints and Drawings for under £5,000 wurde die Arbeit La Sainte Face (Veronica's Veil) für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.874,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claude Mellan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait D'Henri-Louis Habert De Montmor (1600-1679) beobachtet, die im März 2014 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
