It achieved a price of USD 435,000.00 (€ 394,772.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claudio Bravo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Paper, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,259,778.06).

Die Arbeit Bolsas de papel von Claudio Bravo kam im November 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 435.000,00 (€ 394.772,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Für andere Arbeiten von Claudio Bravo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Paper beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 1.385.000,00 (€ 1.259.778,06) versteigert wurde.
