In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein, which included the work Rinaldo and Armida surprised by Ubalde and Carlo; and Armida watching the sleeping Rinaldo -- bozzetti by Claudio Francesco Beaumont. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,174.64), 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Claudio Francesco Beaumont; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Family Of Darius Before Alexander sold at auction in July 2019 with the realized price of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,151.84).
