Auction result well in line with expectations
The work San Jacinto, Palm Springs by Clyde Forsythe was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,933.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Clyde Forsythe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2001 the work Golden Hills was auctioned for USD 4,700.00 (€ 5,558.84).

Die Arbeit San Jacinto, Palm Springs von Clyde Forsythe kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.933,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Clyde Forsythe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2001 die Arbeit Golden Hills für USD 4.700,00 (€ 5.558,84) versteigert.
