This artwork by Conrad Marca-Relli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in November 2017. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Senza Titolo (S-2-58) sold for EUR 52,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conrad Marca-Relli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Cyprian's Day in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,105,000.00 (€ 710,154.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Conrad Marca-Relli erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Senza Titolo (S-2-58) für EUR 52.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conrad Marca-Relli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit St. Cyprian's Day im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.105.000,00 (€ 710.154,24).
