Despite a disappointment, a good price for Constant Louche
When the work La Caravane De La Mariée by Constant Louche was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 6,875.00. Despite this disappointing result, La Caravane De La Mariée is the most expensive artwork by Constant Louche that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Constant Louche
Als die Arbeit La Caravane De La Mariée von Constant Louche im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist La Caravane De La Mariée das teuerste Kunstwerk von Constant Louche, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
