In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work A hawking party at rest by an inn by Cornelis Beelt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,152.35), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cornelis Beelt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Departure of King Charles II From Scheveningen On The 24 May 1660 sold at auction in May 2006 with the realized price of EUR 45,600.00.

Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A hawking party at rest by an inn von Cornelis Beelt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.152,35) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Cornelis Beelt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Departure of King Charles II From Scheveningen On The 24 May 1660 im Mai 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 45.600,00.
