Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2001 Christies in New York held the auction Arts of France: Paintings, Furniture, Tapestries and, which included the work A parrot tulip, roses and other flowers in a basket, on a marble ledge by Cornelis van Spaendonck. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,150.00 (€ 75,781.16). Other works by Cornelis van Spaendonck have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 114,000.00 in October 2006 for the work A Flower Still Life With Roses, Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In A Vase.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.150,00 (€ 75.781,16) einen neuen Besitzer.
